Poached egg in the microwave - Egg in a mug!

It is surprising to notice that many people still don't have a healthy breakfast (if they have one) because they don't know anything easy and quick to prepare. We always hear that breakfast is the most important meal but many of us don't prioritise this meal. If you are not a morning person like I understand you. We often spend more time in the mornings pressing the snooze buttom than preparing our breakfast. But did you know that sumo fighters skip breakfast in order to gain weight more easily? So if you don't want to become a sumo fighter you are better off making sure you have breakfast every morning.
We know that eggs are full of protein and great for muscles building but adding oil to the recipe doen't make it that healthy plus cleaning a frying pan or trying to prepare poached eggs can be quite demotivating. If this sounds a lot like you think here one of the best inventions ever: Egg in a mug!
Ingredients:
- 1 free-range egg
You will need a mug and a little plate.
Preparation:
Break the egg in a mug. Cover with a little plate. Put in the microwave for 30 seconds and voilá your poached egg with melting egg yolk.
You don't need to add oil. Depending on your microwave you will need to test how many seconds you actually need. Sometimes you may hear a sound of a little explosion, don't worry if the mug is covered you won't have any problems, your egg might just not as beautiful after cooked.
I prefer free-range eggs because they are way tastier and we are being kinder with our beloved hens when we choose them.
Now you have no excuses to have a healthy breakfast. Enjoy it!
